From Foundation to Future Campaign

- For over 100 years, All Saints Parish has been a pillar in the Denmark community. Generations of parishioners have volunteered their time, talent, and treasure to make this parish thrive. As parishioners have built a strong foundation, we are looking to propel the parish into the future.
  
  The first phase of this campaign focuses on the rectory. First and foremost, our rectory is the living space that we provide our priest. Our priests sacrifice their lives to care for our souls and spiritual wellbeing. The least we can do is provide them a presentable rectory where they can live, pray, and work.
  
  With our rectory having three available bedrooms, we should be prepared to house visiting priests. Especially with the number of pilgrimages we are seeing, it can be beneficial to have a space where the priest can be invited to stay if he should choose.
  
  And this is not just about Father Xavier. This is about all the priests that will continue to serve us in the future. With parish linkages and consolidations possible in the future, we want to set ourselves up as having excellent facilities. Our Diocese is also paying more attention to the condition of rectories now than they ever have. By keeping our rectory in order, it will show the Diocese that we are serious about being the hub of the Catholic Church in the Denmark area.
- Phase I - Rectory renovations
  
  In recent years, the rectory has faced at least two water intrusion areas.
  In 2021, the back section of the roof on the second story was replaced. This back wall also has a door that was filled in and replaced with a window a few years prior.
  In 2025, the roof was replaced over the first floor kitchen addition. A metal roof was placed on this section around 2017; however, the roof section was not tied into the building, which allowed water to seep into the building. This roof section was replaced with a new rubber roof.
  During recent maintenance work, numerous issues were discovered by parish staff. Some of these issues stem from the water intrusion, while others are from general wear and tear on a century old house.
  Some of these issues include:
  Significant water damage in three rooms of the house, including the upstairs bathroom where the ceiling plaster is starting to detach from its support
  Cracking and flaking of plaster throughout the house
  Badly peeling paint on window frames
  Tile shower with mold and peeling grout
  Furniture that has outlived its usefulness and was stored in a moldy and musty basement for several years prior to Father Xavier’s arrival
  What Is The Plan To Address This?
  We are working with Elite Restoration in Green Bay to fix the damage. They will also be fixing a small amount of damage in the parish office. Replacing the shower and vanity will be a part of the project as well.
  We are also planning on replacing a lot of the furniture in the rectory.
- PHase II - Parish Hall Restrooms
  
  For our next phase, we are going to tackle the parish hall restrooms. The bathrooms are not adequately sized and do not have hot water. As part of the project, both restrooms will need to be expanded into the parish hall to meet ADA standards.
  The new restrooms will feature larger stalls, hot water, and changing tables. We are still in the process of gathering bids, but preliminary numbers are indicating that this will be a significant financial undertaking.
  We have so far raised over $15,000 for this project. Once we have bids and details finalized, we will be publishing that information.
- Our Campaign Co-Patrons
  
  The co-patrons of our From Foundation to Future campaign are St. Joseph and St. Claude la Colombière.
  St. Joseph, as the foster father of Jesus, was responsible for teaching and nurturing the young Jesus, while also creating a happy home. In a similar way, our priests are responsible for guiding us in growing our faith. A rectory should be a happy home of peace and relaxation for our priest.
  St. Claude la Colombière served as the confessor of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque and helped spread devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Through St. Claude’s intercession, we can restore our rectory to be not just a house, but a home rooted in love an mercy, just like the immense love shown to us through the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
